Printing on a Roland with VersaWorks

  • Open the PDF. The cut line shows as a solid red line; if it doesn't, VersaWorks didn't pick up the CutContour color.
  • Job Settings › Mark: tick Crop Marks (Print&Cut Alignment) and choose For Each Row.
  • The cut sits slightly inside the white edge, so a small misalignment still leaves white showing.
  • Run a cut test first: the blade should cut the vinyl and only lightly mark the backing.

Other cutters: Summa, Graphtec and Mimaki RIPs also read a spot-color cut line (you may need to map "CutContour" to your RIP's cut layer name). For Cricut or Silhouette, use the SVG.
